English learning has myriad of problem for EFL (English for Foreign Language) learners and teachers, such as strategy to deliver the material, lack of students' vocabularies, students' disengagement in class activity, even unexpert teacher. Those problems need to overcome, not only by teachers themselves, but also supported by the school facilities and institutional policy. It should be discussed to find out the good way to obtain the good achievement for students. Here, I would prefer to be focus on one of those problems, it is students' disengagement in class activity. Disengagement means the fact of being stopped in involved in something (Cambridge dictionary), in this case means being stopped in involved in class activity. Many teachers observed the causes of students' disengagement especially in English learning. They found some factors, among of them: the students do not know how meaningful the material is for their life, lack of trusting between teacher and students proved by no response to teacher's instruction, students have unexpected achievement within the material delivered and it made them boring, some students have undiagnosed disability that may impact to their difficulties in their learning, students' lifestyle and healthy. The problems mentioned need to be attention to English teachers. Deeper observation is needed to find out the best way to overcome those problems, perhaps workteam of some English teachers can be the good idea.
