GROMBYANG...!! It's not the sound of broken plates, fallen things or even a cat sneakes and nudges things in our kitchen. It' a yummy tradsional food of PEMALANG, a town located between Tegal and Pekalongan, Central Java. I bet, you have never heard about even visited that town. Grombyang isn't an only one tradisional food of Pemalang, there are still some other tradisional food such as kamir, lontong dekem, gempolanan, ogel-ogel, nanas madu, lotek Pemalang and a lot more. Grombyang isn't a kind of snack which you can take it as a souvenir, but it's a kind of dish which must be eaten on the spot. Why? This dish is actually beef soup mixed with rice. The soup tastes sweet. It is topped with srundeng -instead of fried onion- and onion spring. The srundeng makes the taste unique. Don't forget the satay. It is also unique. It is seasoned with soysauce and srundeng. The price of a bowl of "nasi grombyang is very reasonable. So...when will you be GROMBYANGed....😊
