Wahb Bin Munabbah recounted that once Prophet Isa Pbuh (Peace be upon him) went for a journey with a Jew. He brought a piece of bread and the Jew brought two pieces. So he said to the Jew, "Can I eat your bread?" The Jew replied, "Of course," When the Jew found out that Prophet Isa had only brought a piece of bread he regretted having said 'yes'. So when Prophet Isa prayed, the Jew went silently and ate a piece of his bread. After praying, the two people took out their food supplies. Prophet Isa asked the Jew, "Where is your other piece of bread?" The Jew replied, “O sorry, I just brought one loaf of bread.” So Isa ate his own bread and the Jew ate his own too.

Then they both went on their way. When they came to a tree, Prophet Isa said to the Jew, "We'd better spend the night under this tree until morning comes." The Jew replied, "Alright. " They spent the night under the tree until morning came, then they continued their journey. On the way they met a blind man. Prophet Isa said to him, "If I healed you and Allah returned your sight, would you be grateful to Him?" The blind man replied, "Of course." Then Prophet Isa wiped the blind man's eyes while praying, so the blind man could see again. Then Prophet Isa said to the Jew," By the One Who has restored his sight, where is your other peace of bread? "The Jew replied," By Allah, I have no bread but only a piece." Prophet Isa was just silent hearing the answer. (To be continued) .
