The Hunches (Tagur Hari ke-45)
It is narrated from Imam Shafi'i and Muhammad Ibn Al Hasan that they both saw someone, then Imam Shafi'i said, guessing, "He is a carpenter." Muhammad Ibn al-Hasan said, "He is a blacksmith." Then the two men asked the man directly about his work. The man replied, "I used to be a blacksmith but now I work as a carpenter."
A man asked a scholar about something. The scholar said to him, "Sit down, I really smell the aroma of disbelief from your words." Then the man was given advice by the cleric. Indeed the man has embraced another religion-hopefully we can avoid such things-. The man was asked, "Do you memorize the verses of the Qur'an." The man replied, "I do not memorize except one verse, namely the word of Allah Ta'ala, "The disbelievers often (later on in the hereafter) wish, that they were first in the world to be Muslims." (Qs. Al-Hijr; 2)
Abu Sa'id al-Kharraz narrated, "I saw a poor man in the Grand Mosque. He had nothing but clothes that covered his aurat. My heartfelt hatred and dislike for him. That person seemed to know my feelings, so he said, " And know that Allah knows what is in your heart, so fear Him!" (Surah Al-Baqarah: 235). I also regretted my attitude towards him and I prayed for forgiveness. Then the person said, "And it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and forgive mistakes and know what you do." (Surah Al-Syu'ara ': 25)
