The Monk, His Mistakes and His Alms (Hari ke-78)
There was a worshiper from Israel. He had worshiped in his temple for 60 years. The rain was always there in the region where the temple was and the trees grew thickly, green all around. Once the monk wanted to come out of the temple and said, "If I come down and see the greatness of Allah, it will increase my kindness."
Then the monk came down from the temple carrying a loaf or two of bread. While the monk was walking, a woman came to him. The monk and the woman engaged in such a lively conversation that the woman forgot herself, and so did the monk. They lost consciousness. The two committed adultery.
Then the monk went down to the pool to take a bath. While he was taking a bath, a beggar came to him. The monk motioned to the beggar to take the two slices of his loaves.
A moment later the monk died. Then he weighed the acts of worship of him for 60 years with his adultery. It turns out to be equal. Next, the charity of the two pieces of bread was included into his good deeds. Then his good deeds weighed more heavily than the mistakes he has committed. The monk' sin was forgiven
