The Story of Juraij the Worshiper Part 1 (Hari ke-5)
Narrated from Abu Hurairah r.a., he told that Rasulullah pbuh (peace be upon him) said that there was a worshiper from Israel named Juraij. Every day he retreated to a temple for worship. One day, while he was praying, his mother came and called, "O Juraij, come here!" Hearing his mother's call, Juraij became confused and asked himself. "O Rabbi, which one should I put first, my mother or my prayer?" Finally he chose to continue praying and his mother left him. The next day, his mother came back to him and called him, "Juraij, come here." Juraij was hesitant and asked himself, "O Rabbi, which one should I put first, my mother or my prayers?" Finally, he still chose to continue praying and let his mother leave him. The following day, his mother came to him again and called him, "Juraij, come here!" Juraij was hesitant and asked himself, "O Rabbi, which one do I put first, my mother or my prayer?" Finally he chose to continue his prayer. The mother was offended and prayed, "O Allah, don't You let him die unless he has been humiliated by a prostitute woman."
Meanwhile, Juraij's fame in piety and worship has spread among the Israelites and they often mention him in their conversations.
