The Story of the Owner of a Garden (Hari ke-85)
A man is walking in the Sahara desert. Suddenly he heard a voice from above the clouds, "Make rain fall on Fulan's garden (mention a name)" . The clouds then moved and poured rainwater on the land of "harrah" (soil with lots of black stones). In an instant one of the trenches in the harrah land was filled with water. The man then traced the trench.
Suddenly he saw a man adjusting the flow of water with his hoe. He was the owner of the garden. Then he said to the man who owned the garden, "O servant of Allah, what is your name?" The owner of the garden replied, "My name is Fulan (exactly as the name mentioned by the voice above the cloud). The owner of the garden asked," Why do you ask my name? "The man replied," I heard a voice above the clouds telling the clouds to send rainwater down on this garden. The voice said, "water the garden of Fulan", the name which was mentioned was exactly like yours. What have you done with your garden so that you receive such a great blessing?" The owner of the garden replied," Since you have asked this, I will tell you what I have done with my garden. I always wait for the products of my garden. I give alms to one third of the produce of this garden, my family and I eat one third of the produce of this garden and the other third for Allah."
