The Torments and Pleasures in the Grave 2 (Tagur 10)

The Messenger of Allah continued his saying, "A servant who disbelieves when he dies, angels descend from the sky with black faces. They carried a rough cloth, then stopped (took a distance) from that person as far as the eye could see. Then the angel of death next to him came. The angel of death said, "O evil soul, come out to the curse and wrath of Allah." So he tore his body apart and took his life as an iron skewer pulled out of a wet woolen cloth. When the angel of death pulled it out, he did not let the man's soul in his hands even for the twinkling of an eye, but the other angels put it in the rough cloth they carried. The soul of the person emitted a stench like a carcass on earth.

Then the angels took the soul up to the sky. Every time they passed by a group of heavenly guardian angels, they (sky guards) said, "What is this stench?" They answered, "Fulan bin Fulan" with the worst name ever given to him in the world. When the angels came to the door of heaven on earth, they knocked on the door, but it was not opened. Then the Messenger of Allah read the verse, "Never will the gates of heaven be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise, until a camel goes through the eye of a needle." (al-A'raf: 40). Then Allah said, "Write a record of his deeds in the Sijjin, on the lowest earth." Then the spirit of the disbeliever was thrown at once. "Whoever associates anything with Allah, it is as if he fell from the sky and was struck by a bird, or blown by the wind to a very far place." (Al-Hajj: 31).

Then the spirit of the disbeliever was returned to his body. After that, two angels came to meet him. The two angels asked him, "Who is your Lord?" He replied, "I do not know." The two angels asked again, "What is your religion?" He replied, "I don't know." The two angels asked him again, "Who is the person who has been sent to you?" He replied, "I don't know." Then a voice came from heaven that the man had lied. Then the entrance to hell was opened and there out the heat and the poison. The man was pressed by his grave until his bones were crushed. Then came to him a bad-looking person. He said, "This is the day which has been promised to you." The disbeliever asked, "Who are you? Your face is a face that brings evil." The man replied, "I am your evil deed." The disbeliever said, "O Lord, do not you bring the apocalypse." (Hadith narrated by al Baihaqi with authentic sanad).
