This is my definition of the best teacher

I've found that the word 'teachers' has so many different associations for people that it's easy for people, especially outside the teaching profession, to see a teacher as "someone standing in front of the room in front of the blackboard and talking to class full of students hope to receive enough of their monologue to pass the exam.”

I am eager to be a teacher where I believe that my responsibility is to empower students to grow, learn and become capable and self-sufficient people.

I believe the students that I work with have all the answers and this is my role to facilitate conversations that support and challenge students to find their own answers. This means that I often work one on one with students who I listen to them and ask questions with the goal of personal growth.
