A whisper stepped me forward through the sand, just walk.... no destiny... solitaire. I just heard a whispering sand .... so softly.

This place called as Whispering Sand. It is located in Bromo mountain, East Java Indonesia.

Whispering Sand is one of tourist spot which is used as part of Bromo tour packages. The other spots are Pananjakan Peak, Bromo crater and Savanna.

Around 10 p.m we went to Cemoro Lawang from Malang. We arrived around 2 am. There were many hostels in Cemoro Lawang but we didn't stay at night for that time. It was very cold. We wore long jhon, thick jacket, and socks. I bought wool scarf and gloves there. We tried to find a rented jeep. We rented a jeep on the spot including the driver. Six or seven persons could be in the jeep. We paid for about Rp. 650.000.

The driver drove us to those tourist spots.

The Whispering Sand was the last trip after visiting the three other places.

If the wind is blowing hard, the roar of the wind will bring the grains of sand likr a whisper of something. That's why this place known as Whispering Sand.
